These items usually include clothing, blankets, patches, tags, tools, and other supplies. Sometimes even vehicles are among the items are sold by the military, but hardly ever any type of weapons or ammunition. Surplus supply store owners buy these items at a cheap price from the military and then resell them to the public for a profit. Camping For Old Times Sake

Aurora Fire Starter Black Camper's Fire Starter

I had been looking for quality Military Surplus items online and I’m definitely impressed with some of the things I’ve found. My buddy and me recently took up a new hobby and started camping together. I used to go camping with my dad when I was a kid and it was always something I enjoyed so I figured why not take a chance and go out in the woods for old times’ sake?

Being a little older and wiser, I decided to pick up some items that I thought would be useful and they sure did come in handy. I splurged on an Aurora Fire Starter and was very happy with the quality of the merchandise that I ordered. First of all, it was made in the U.S which I always love! It was made very well and it was easy to use, and it made things so much easier for both of us. I don't mind roughin' it, but I like to have at least a few things with me that save time and make life easier. I'm all about relaxing these days, and I think Camping should be more of a relaxing trip than work. I work hard enough through the week so you can't blame me for wanting to just enjoy the outdoors when I get the chance to go camping. I've been thinking about taking a trip soon with the samily, but I'm thinking the relaxation might be nearly impossible with the 5 of us together in the woods. Who knows though, it might end up working out nicely. I'm wondering what the most useful camping supplies are, anybody got any good ideas for me?

Military Gear For Less

I married my husband about ten years ago and he was in the army for most of his life. We support our troops and try to give to JROTC and any other organization that is working to serve our country. Although, my husband and I are comfortable in these hard economic times, we try to save as much as we can. It is a goal of ours to give as much as we can give to those young men and women that put their life on the line every day for our country.

I try to shop for things that I can send these men and women in the military that will give them comfort and provide them with all their necessities. I am constantly looking for military surplus stores and discount army navy shops that will give us a break on my homemade care packages. We also do a run every year for Cancer and we make sure we are decked out in army gear, from head to toe. Do you know of any discount or surplus stores?
